Alot of people have been asking me for tips on this adwords thing now that they are noticing I’m making £1000 a month recurring with no extra effort besides the initial start.
Well do you think I’ll just give that info away for free seeing as I had to pay for it (both with time and ad clicks)? Shall I teach others for free and dilute my earnings? What do you think? Not likely!
Instead I’ll recommend an ebook (which you can buy and in full disclaimer, yes I recieve a kickback, just to make it fair). Well recently I thought I try one of these books that tell you how to do it, see if I could learn anything new and I settled on Adwords 180. I pretty much knew everything in it, but it is a great blueprint for those just starting out and I highly recommend it to my newbie competitors.
I for one welcome the new adwords overlords!

Found this site that lets you tell it which countries you’ve visited and it creates a map. Like so:

World66
Apparently I’ve only visited 6% of the world. 15 Countries, I’ve got a bit to catch up to.

I would like to introduce the new tinyurl service from here at mjlab.com.
http://url.mjlab.com/
For all who don’t know what what a tinyurl service is, let me quickly explain it. The problem is that some websites have ultralong mega urls. For example here is multimap link to the city of London, UK:
http://multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?client=public&X=530000.687257467&Y=180000.911348558&gride=530120.687257467&gridn=180515.911348558&scale=100000&coordsys=gb&db=freegaz&lang=&inmap=&table=&ovtype=&localinfosel=&local=&kw=&srec=0&mapsize=big&db=freegaz&rt=
As you can see, its pretty long and unwieldy. A tinyurl service allows you to turn that big url up there, into this:
http://url.mjlab.com/0kl7u
A much nicer, neater looking url.
I didn’t write the code for this (I could, but why reinvent the wheel) . No it’s nanourl, and it written by msblabs.org and released under the BSD license.
Now I give permission for my tinyurl service to be used by anyone for personal, or development use only. Only I am allowed to use it for commerical gain. *EvilGrin*. I also reserve to remove or change the service in anyway at anytime.
Thats the legal bit out of the way, basically, if your nice with the service, and don’t abuse it, it stays up for all. Otherwise it closes up for my access only.

Just bought mjlab.com for my personal dns and for the blog. Its a nice, short and sweet domain name, only 5 letters, didn’t think there was any left that short. Lucky me
Registered it for 2 years, with auto registration by Godaddy for only $14 ($7 a year)
So the blog will now be hosted on blog.mjlab.com
My email is: matt@mjlab.com
